This turntable will be fifty years old this year, I bought it together with the Goodman's Havant speakers from Comet in Stockport in 1972. I replaced the drive belt in 2007. It only gets occasional use, but it's in perfect working order. I'm using a Shure M75 ED type 2 cartridge I bought second-hand on eBay in 2016 for £34. The Leak 2000 Tuner/Amp is about forty-six years old. No extraneous noises, (it's the camera!) My original tuner/amp was a Philips RH22 790 which died fifteen years ago. It's in perfect working order, I bought it for £56 two months ago, on eBay, I've another I use in my office with some bookcase speakers, I bought that on eBay to replace the Philips. OK it was only mid-range quality to start, but has always been good enough for me. As they say, "They don't make 'em like they used to." Recorded on a little Lumix DMC TZ-60 camera, which doesn't do the quality of the reproduction justice.
