Our Homestead Grid connection - Trenching & Cable Pulling - Huge Push

Since moving onto our homestead we've had limited access to the grid. Our house is mostly powered by solar lights, battery banks, and USB lights. However, we do have 1 wall with electricity on which allows us to power the internet and the computers. We have long thought about the pros and cons of going solar and staying off the grid or getting connected temporarily until we can afford a good solar system. .. And we decided to get connected to the grid despite the very hard work it took. While the work got interrupted by bad weather, we are at least one step closer to raising our comfort level on our Homestead.
