@austin.59474 years ago Hey moonbo i have a tip for you, tier 3 concrete is the heaviest block you can drag. Try replacing the metal with tier 3 concrete and it might be better for sinking. 31

@flyingmunk89564 years ago change the seats to face backwards. So it will be front wheel drive with the steering in the back. So no wheelies. And I know it's not so great but if you put the steering wheels on a straight axle with double bearings it might keep the wheels from both getting pulled backwards .. ...Expand 2

    moonbo: its free real estate.
  • @
@joelverboom84674 years ago Perhaps to make the big wheels work you could use steering like a real car, there would be 2 bearings to attach to the wheel and could be more stable because the front wheels shouldn' t flop around. 1
  • @
@darthvegan4 years ago I made a similar vehicle, and used sand. It is less buoyant than metal and heavier. But admittedly, your vehicle is way better looking! Super cool!

@blackboots74774 years ago Try wrapping the beating/pipes in metal 3x3 blocks the bearings tubes running through the middle. It should help with stability of the axels.

@KrawllUnchained4 years ago Moonbo, i think metal isn' t your best material to build this. You should look at the buoyancy stat when wanting to build something that either float i' m fairly sure that the concrete has less buoyancy than metal, which would make it sink faster and remain at the bottom more easily.
also, maybe try and have a look at your buddy johnbane' s video of his big blue semi truck build.
he used controllers to power the wheels and, i could be wrong but i think that if you were to recreate the exact same thing he did for his wheels, you might be able to stabilize those big metal wheels that you wanted to use to much.
johnbane had more than one weld point per wheel and he was taking advantage of the fact that suspension pieces don' t have collision.
i can' t remember exactly what he did but i' m sure there is useful info for you in that video

  • @
@CaBarry3744 years ago You really should have built that above the water, upside down, and checked them against the ocean floor instead. That, or build one with a few (possibly you can also put all the controller bearings together if you connect the wheels to a proper axle, and make the rotation turn with the steering. This largely fixes the issue you were having with the controller bearings fucking with the steering as well. ...Expand
