Plane Crash - Nelson, British Columbia

Plane crash aftermath captured at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. This Cessna 180 Skywagon C-FZYZ of Westlake Contracting Ltd. crashed while landing at CZNL in the morning of August 3, 2020. I don’t know the details of the crash, but it sounds like the pilot is alright, so that’s a big relief. It appears the aircraft touched down on the runway, veered off through the airport fence, bounced off the road and came to rest in the parking lot of the Wholesale Club grocery store on Lakeside Drive. The video features views of the aftermath of this crash landing of the general aviation aircraft from all angles, as well as photos of the plane. You can see where the aircraft broke through the fence, hit the road, and came to rest. Also notice the fuel still dripping out of the wings and the broken off landing gear and wheels.
