The best smartwatches of 2021, tested and reviewed, from Samsung, Fossil, Oppo, Ticwatch, Huawei and more! Here's my top 10 favourite rivals to the Apple Watch Series 7 that hit the UK this year, boasting premium features, brilliant battery life, fitness tracking smarts and more. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is definitely one of the greatest, offering Wear OS v3, unlike most of the competition. The standard Samsung Watch 4 lacks the premium design and a couple of features, but is still brilliant for a bit less cash. The Fossil Gen 6 is one of the best alternatives to the Galaxy smartwatch, packing similar tools. Sadly you also get bad battery life, just like the Samsung effort, but the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS and Oppo Watch Wifi are great options if that bothers you. Likewise, the Huawei Watch GT 3 can school the Fossil Gen 6 and Galaxy Watch 4 for longevity. Full review of that one coming soon, but the older Huawei Watch GT2 Pro is still a classic. Last up, Amazfit's watches are a good choice if you're a bit more skint, while the T Rex Pro can handle some serious punishment.
