🥬Making a mint chutney at home is quite simple and requires just a few basic ingredients. Here's a quick and easy recipe for you: 😍Ingredients: - 1 cup fresh mint leaves, washed and stems removed - 3 green chilies (adjust according to your spice preference) - lemon juice - Salt to taste - Red onion - tamarind extract - Grated coconut - 1/4 cups water Instructions: 1. Clean and wash the mint leaves thoroughly. Remove any thick stems. 2. In a blender or food processor, add the mint leaves, green chilies, grated coconut, red onion and tamarind extract. 3. Blend all the ingredients until you get a smooth paste. If the mixture is too thick, add 1/4 cups of water gradually while blending to achieve your desired consistency. Add a pinch of salt and lemon juice. 4. Taste the chutney and adjust the salt or lemon juice according to your preference. 5. Once the chutney is ready, transfer it to a clean, airtight container. 6. You can serve the mint chutney immediately or refrigerate it for later use. It stays fresh for a few days in the refrigerator. Mint chutney pairs well with various Indian snacks like Biryani, Dhosa, Idli, Roti, Samosas etc. It also goes great as a condiment for sandwiches, wraps, and as a side with rice dishes. Enjoy your homemade mint chutney!
