King of the Picts/Mr. John McIntosh of Paisley

This is a strathspey/reel set preformed and recorded by Alyssa Rodriguez. I wrote these tunes, the second of which is in honor of a great great grandfather of mine. John McIntosh (the mustachioed man in the photo, b. 1873 d.1943) originated from Paisley, Scotland, eventually moved to Kelty. It is said that he played violin for silent films. I felt like he deserved a tune. I asked the very talented Alyssa Rodriguez to record this set because she is much better fiddle player than I, and I wanted to hear her interpretation of these tunes.
