After completing a BFA in Acting from Ithaca College, Maddie Stengel moved to Chicago to pursue theatre administration and accessibility. Maddie worked closely with The House Theatre of Chicago, where she organized the theatre's first sensory-friendly performance for sensory-sensitive and autistic audience members and managed guest services at The Magic Parlour. In early 2020, Maddie shifted focus and accepted a position at a global corporate law firm, Sidley Austin LLP, where she now supports two partners as a legal secretary. Maddie also recently launched a small business, Final Draft, offering editing services to students and pre-professionals. Maddie is conversational in American Sign Language and committed to making accessibility for disabled and neurologically diverse people part of the mainstream narrative.
