Self healing materials , also known as Wolverine materials are the next big thing. Recently you might have notice its mention in the movie "Mission Mangal". Where the team uses a self healing cloth called wolverine material. As of now the cost / price of this material is very high. But in future this can be made widely available for many construction purposes even in our cars and bikes to self heal scratches. The materials take advantage of the process known as polymerisation where the fabric itself is the polymer and has bonding agents to heal the materials within the cloth in the form of micro capsules or maybe nano-tubes.
