If my book is already on Amazon kdp do I need to do a preorder on ingramspark selfpublishing

This was a great question from an author whose book is already live on Amazon.com via Amazon KDP. Do they need to allow for a 6 week preorder on IngramSpark? Not necessarily. If the book is already live on Amazon.com and readers want it elsewhere, I'd say set the publication date for today so that as soon as the retailers have the link up and running you can announce it. Not all retailers will have your book live at the same time, but you can announce these as they pop up and that will give you more to say about the book.
