Wow! Another great adventure that we are able to share with you! Today's episode is a very fun and intriguing one as I head out to the deep woods of Southern Illinois, not far from the Garden of the Gods state park, to a very remote area to check out a roughly 100 year old barn that has literally been overgrown by the deep woods to see if I can get my Bobcat e42 R series mini excavator in there to clear all the trees and brush away from the barn so that the property owner can get in there and take a closer look at this awesome old barn in the woods to see what his options are for this old barn! Of course this will be an adventure as they often turn out to be, starting with my directions to get there! TAKE A RIGHT TURN AT THE BIGFOOT STATUE!! LOL. For real!? Yes, this is for real, so join me for another fun and educational episode as I work my way through the winding roads of Southern Illinois to find this property that I have never been at before to clear some 'LIGHT BRUSH' around the barn! Yeah, my buddy Curtis Rogers got me into this land management project again, and as usual it is More than I anticipated! Join me for the fun as I get lost in the overgrown jungle on my first attempt to find this old barn in the woods, then try to make sense of Curtis' map and regroup to find the old barn. Then I am a bit overwhelmed by the 'light brush' that has engulfed this amazing old barn, that I have to clear with my bobcat e42 R series mini excavator! But I am always up for a good challenge, and today this is another one! Join me as I do some land clearing and clear all of the trees and brush the have literally grown around and into this old barn so that we can get a better look at it and see what kind of options the land owner has, and if Sharon and I are willing to try to dismantle this old barn and make some use of the beautiful old barn boards that this old barn is still holding! What a fun day!
