The Expo 2020 Water Feature - Dubai (2021) is situated between Al Wasl Plaza and Jubilee Park, combining the elements of water, earth and fire in a way that will both surprise and delight the senses. Expo's one of the must-see attractions: 'Surreal' the new waterfalls that towers more than four stories high. It was designed by Los Angeles, California-based water feature firm WET. The Water Feature has sheets of water cascading down vertical walls 13 metres high with immediate splash. During the day, the water falls into a circle of fire (created with pure hydrogen) while after dark the H20 changes course, flowing backwards up the walls in a nature-defying act. "Here is a place where nature plays and performs—where the magic of the world, hiding just beneath nature’s cover, reveals itself to each Expo visitor." The water feature is choreographed to move to the sounds of the original music score created by Ramin Djawadi, who composed the Game of Thrones among other well-known works.
