But i saw the commercial where she cried talking about how her husband what she claimed ron did when she was going through her greatest time of trial and need is exactly what a good husband should do. Otherwise he' s not much of a man and doesn' t deserve the love of that woman. To make that something that says oh he' s better than most and he deserves your vote because of what he did for me, to me was shameful. It was sad and pathetic that she had to come out and say something like that about her husband to make him look better. So is she the secret weapon behind ron desantis? You' re damn right. A woman who has had to deal with what she' s gone through has a instant level of respect for most people.
but i will tell you this about ron desantis. I' ve lived in florida for most of my life. And i feel less free now that i have any other time of living here. There are less rights more restrictions and sadly things that i have to worry about for my daughter and my wife in the future that i' ve never had to worry about before. When it comes to taking away a woman' s right to choose what happens to her body you are not making your state more free but more restrictive. When companies can' t even speak out on behalf of groups who are different without having to pay penalties, your state is not free. All this talk about florida being the freestate in the country is bs. Taxes are higher than they' ve ever been, and we were the third highest death rate during covid in the country. If you try to wear a mask to protect you and your family you' re ridiculed. If you say that you got it the covid vaccine people condemn you and call you all kinds of things under the sun. I don' t feel what people will say and do to me but my kids and my wife don' t deserve to be mistreated all because i as the leader of this house have made a decision to protect them and follow the science of different things or my conscience for others. But in florida you have to be careful of everything you say and do for fear people judging you in ways you' ve never had to worry about. Florida is not as free as they claim it to be.
