Donald Trump BARRED From President’s Race Next Year By Colorado Supreme Court

The Colorado's Supreme Court decision on Tuesday (December 19) disqualifying former President Donald Trump from appearing on the primary ballot in Colorado seems unlikely to be upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, Duke University Associate Professor Adriane Lentz-Smith said. The historic 4-3 ruling said Trump could not be on the primary ballot because his actions on January 6, 2021 made him ineligible for the White House under a rarely used constitutional provision that bars officials who have engaged in "insurrection or rebellion" from holding office. US Political commentator Steve Gill says the Colorado Supreme Court banning Donald Trump from the presidential race next year is just "another sensational headline".
