I've no regrets. ” Trivia Behind The Scenes In a secret scene, after Jay Byars' departure, Kim Spradlin goes to Troyzan Robertson and confesses that the new Salani alliance was a temporary one, to pave way of the rise of the original all-women Salani Alliance; and explains that she never planned to take Jay and Troyzan to the final four. To Troyzan's shock, Kim also reveals that Jay was gunning for him before Tribal Council. It appeared that Christina Cha left her money unused at the Survivor Auction. However, she later revealed post-game that she actually purchased a lasagna for $80, hence why she could not outbid Troyzan.[2][3] Life at Ponderosa A euphoric Leif leaves Tribal Council is comforted by Dr. Liza, the in-game psychologist. In his post-game check-up, Leif learns he lost a total of 13.3 lbs. Leif arrives at Ponderosa and is warmly welcomed by the other Jury members. Michael Jefferson is in disbelief Leif lost that much weight. The jurors receive a note from Tree Mail that a large tuna awaits in the kitchen for them to prepare. Jonas, a chef, leads the charge with Leif as his "apprentice". For lunch, Jonas uses the remaining fish meat to make sushi and create a new delicacy which he calls the "Samoan Guacamole". https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Survivor: _One_World Twists/Changes One World Format: The two competing tribes, Manono and Salani, will be competing against each other while living together on the same beach in a more indefinite time. After the tribe switch and Reward Challenge on Day 12, the tribes were separated. Battle of the Sexes: The cast will be divided according to gender, similar to both Survivor: The Amazon and Survivor: Vanuatu. Salani and Manono were the all-women and all-men tribes respectively, before the tribe switch on Day 12. "Do-It-Yourself" Challenges: Similar to how a Reward Challenge in Survivor: Samoa was conducted, certain challenges would require the contestants to run the challenge themselves, with no host overseeing them. Hidden Immunity Idol: Though there will be only one camp, there will still be two Hidden Immunity Idols, one per tribe. If someone finds the other tribe's idol, they cannot use it. Instead, they must give it to a member of the opposite tribe before the next Tribal Council. Furthermore, for the first time, no clues would be provided. Tribe Switch: The tribes were switched on Day 12, mixing the men and the women. Merge: This season merged with twelve castaways in the game. Expanded Jury and Final Three: Instead of the conventional Final Two facing the jury of seven, the Day 39 Tribal Council was held with a Final Three facing a nine-person jury. Season Summary The 18 castaways were split into gender-based tribes and given maps to their camps, unaware they would lead to the same location. Despite living on the same beach, the tribes would remain split, building separate shelters and fending for their own tribe. On the women's tribe, Salani, a five-person alliance was formed between Alicia Rosa, Chelsea Meissner, Kat Edorsson, Kim Spradlin, and Sabrina Thompson, who were able to control the votes on their tribe. Despite a strong start, the men (Manono) found difficulty with Colton Cumbie, an outspoken member of the tribe who was initially an outsider, often interacting with Salani instead. After Sabrina accidentally found Manono's Hidden Immunity Idol, she gave it to Colton, who used his new found power to overthrow Manono's dominant alliance and gain control of the tribe.
