Now open the x icon changer and choose the app you want to change the icon on android home screen. Tap on the app to edit it. Here you can change the app name. Tap on photos to add a photo from your phone gallery. But before, you need to give some permission to the app to access your gallery. On the free version you have to watch a short video before uploading the photo. Choose the image you want to replace the icon. You have different options for the border. I prefer the curved square.
